Protecting
Favourite for the next 25 years is essential. An epoxy-coated plywood
deck was specified as it would withstand rain, frost and sun better
than a laid plank deck. This solution also helped to keep the project
within budget!
The photograph also shows the counter being built, supported by
the magnificent oak horn timbers. The Favourite Trust hopes that
future projects will restore an authentic deck, fittings and even
the mast and spars.
