At this stage, Favourite bacame far stronger as the top of each frame had been fixed between the sheer strake (the top plank) and the beam shelf. The curved deck beams have been cut from oak and fixed over the beam shelf. The new frames, the stempost and the sternpost are now all vertical and Favourite has been rebuild as closely as possible to her original shape.

In fact every other frame has been replaced, and old frames can be seen here still fixed to the topsides planking which was mostly sound. Looking towards the stern:
